Notes:

  • Processed fine with similar settings under ODM v2.0.0 (SNAP).
  • The part that stands out to me in the above stacktrace is the KeyError: ‘c_x’ during lens calibration.
  • Same failure even on Default processing settings.
  • Failure is occuring with Old Orchard dataset as well
  • Failure does not seem to occur with other datasets (brighton, sand key, etc.)
  • Failure presents similarly to before Brown-Conrady camera model was merged

Will happen with any dataset processed with GoPros.

Thanks for the fix! It was driving me nuts because I thought it sounded familiar.

Is this the type of fix that goes upstream to OpenSFM, or does it only really apply for ODM?

Should I delete this thread since you’ve already fixed the regression and this shouldn’t apply in the future?

Doesn’t go upstream, because we modified the camera model handling. Normally it would work fine in OpenSfM without the patch.

I wouldn’t remove the thread, it’s a good reference for the future.
