Volume calculator ; base surface definition

Hi. I’m new to this forum and I’m happy to join the community.
I wonder about the volume calculator.
I’m able to have good results with conical stock piles on a flat ground, but I need to estimate volume of sand between 3 vertical walls.
My problem is that I don’t know how to define the base surface of my volume.
I assume that it’s defined by the outline of the shape I draw, but for my situation, I need to define the base as an horizontal plane at the height of my lowest point of the outline.
I’ve been unable to find options to define the base surface. Are they any?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Cyril,

I agree with you. For materials stored in bins or containers, usually your best shot is to use lowest point. Sadly, as far as I remember webodm does not provide options for baseplane calculation, but you can take the DSM and orthophoto into qgis for calculation.

It would be nice to have these options (average, triangulated, lowest point and highest point), but for now are not available.

Thank you very much Israelbar for your help
It will save me a lot of time looking for something that doesn’t exists
Best regards.
