Suggested ios gis data collection apps

Hey all,

I am looking for an apple ios gis data collection application that works well with an ntrip client built in?

Oof… I don’t know about the NTRIP Client aspect, but I’ve had incredible success with OpenDataKit/KoboCollect, as well as Input for QGIS and QField.

Hi Saijin,

Thanks for the response. Looking for something with the same functionality as sw maps (android) for ios. Coming up short so far, i imagine there is something out there. Also would need the capability to connect to an external gnss receiver, either through bluetooth or usb.

That will work in ODK/Kobo, QField, and Input. So, if you’ve got RTK/NMEA coming in from the GPS Receiver, they’ll be able to make use of those measurements.

I checked out mergin maps which used to be called input, however it requires corrections are already done at the receiver instead of through the app, same as qfield on android. Thanks for looking. Ill just stick to android and sw maps. :+1:

related to all this, do you know of any IOS apps that mock your gps location and feed it to other apps similar to lefebure for android? lefebure can connect to bluetooth and usb gnss receiver and perform the ntrip corrections and feed that to other apps. I have used this method on android.

I do not use iOS, and I’ve not hear of anything like Lefebure (which I also have/use for Android).
