Hi all, I’d just like a couple pointers for camera overlap for forest as I haven’t been having the best luck.
I’ve been doing 75% front and 70% side. Would bumping both up to 80% yield better results? I’m not sure why the default Dronelink settings have a 5% variance between the two.
Here is some info about overlap at height of objects at 75%/70% overlap. Overlap is affected quite a bit even if trees are even 50 ft tall.
Bumping the overlap to 80/80 looks better at canopy height. Bottom line, I would say YES … bump it up to get better overlap at treetop height.
