trying to process these coordinates with the GCP editor pro:
GCP Label,Northing,Easting,Elevation (m)
1,429015.216,-1314406.199,462.343
2,429006.413,-1314389.651,460.690
3,429025.233,-1314385.470,461.743
4,429038.429,-1314367.921,462.173
5,429049.060,-1314388.487,464.112
The System is EPSG:31253 (MGI (Ferro) / Austria GK East Zone + EVRF2000 Austria height)
So obviously the coordinates should be somewhere in Austria, but the nearest I’m getting is France
Yes, I’ve tried to change northing with easting that landed me in the middle east
yea, I was thinking the same.
I suspect the NTRIP correction data was received in the wrong local system, gonna check this today. They were collected with a GNSS rover.
Yeah, I was having a heck of a time trying to figure out what could have happened other than the positions just being offset with an arbitrary offset… Without knowing where they should actually be, I couldn’t do anything to help, sorry.
appreciate the answer, thank you.
Luckily my GNSS logs world coordinates too, those are all right.
It seems that I was using the wrong NTRIP mount point and therefore I got the wrong correction data when collecting these points.
These are the right global coordinates:
Longitude
Latitude
Ellipsoidal height
16.47592207
47.64350399
463.662
16.47619479
47.64346579
461.732
16.47599194
47.64329734
461.463
16.47604482
47.64312774
460.152
16.47579934
47.64316881
461.928
TLDR: user error.
PS: would you guys be interested in a sample dataset of an Autel Evo II Pro RTK with Rinex and GCP’s?
yes I would gladly contribute.
Trying to upload the files 2 days in a row to GitHub but it always fails. Either too many files at once (yes, tried 100 at once) or when I zip them, the file is too big.
I’d really appreciate someone else uploading them from my OneDrive , password is “enjoy”
*edit: files are still syncing, it might take 1 hour
