File format forArchicad

Hi,

Im trying to do a proyect for a house with some architect and need to do a ground model because we are building in a hill. After i do the 2d and 3d model succesfully how can I export it in a diferent format like .xyz or .e57 so they can use it in Archicad softwere?

I`m really new in all of this so any help would be much apreciated!!

Welcome!

Looks like you can export the 3D model to .XYZ point cloud using MeshLab or CloudCompare.

e57 is a point-cloud format, and CloudCompare will allow you to export to that.

Can you get better information on what mesh/model formats ArchiCAD supports for import?

Sweet, thanks for the link!

Looks like Wavefront OBJ is a go for Mesh (so you’re good there), and XYZ is the preferred for point-cloud (so MeshLab/CloudCompare).
