Elevation error

Hello everyone,

I have a recurring error in my maps, specifically in their elevation. In any area I map it always gives me an elevation of around 50 meters above what it should give me.

I don’t know if it is a problem with the drone, DJI M3E, or the software.

I’m going crazy and what else to look for. All help is welcome.

Thank you all.

Please forgive that this maybe so base, but I don’t suppose you were flying at 50m AGL? I map some applications about that elevation. So maybe you are getting theh elevation of the drone and not ground.

Hi Syazoo,
I thought when I did the first flight I set 50 meters, but in the last two flights I set the first one to 119m AGL and the second one to 90m AGL.
Yesterday I contacted the technical service where I bought the drone and perhaps it was because the DJI M3E connected with RTK uses WGS84 and ellipsoidal height. I’m going to try to transform to orthometric height, process data and check the height.
On Monday morning I will share the results with you.
Thanks for everything.

Hello everybody,

Finally, the error was mine, I´m going to explain.

The map I was making, when I spoke with the client, I understood that he wanted the ellipsoidal height and not the orthometric height, which when I discovered the error I didn’t even consider this problem. So, in the end it was much simpler, we were speaking in two different languages with an approximate difference of 50m. :man_facepalming:

Thank you very much to everyone for your help.
