Hi, I have create a nice mission on dronelink (Dronelink) as a test. I config only a area with 90m (90/85 overlap, nadir) and two with 20 degree angle of direction at 81m altitude and -80 degree gimbal.
Now it is possible to watch this on google earth with a kmz export. Is it possible to convert this waypoints to DJI Pilot 2? I think, I will need only the outer waypoints. Terrain Flow and image capture settings from DJI Pilot 2. The Mavic 3 M won´t in the list of dronelink test area, but a normal M3E wide. When I look inside the kmz (unzip it) there is one kml file with first 5451 lines of coordinates and follow gx:FlyTo commands with 214 fotopoints.
I´ve done three exports:
dronelink.kmz (same speed, same speed)
dronelink-speedup.kmz (speed up at 81m, 80/70overlap to 8m/s)
dronelink-onlypath.kmz (setting without photo, in googleearth there is only the path visible)
So is there a way, to edit/convert these kmz files to load in DJI Pilot 2? The altitude in dronelink is from ESRI (follow Terrain config). I will load my own DTM file, but this is not possible in dronelink, but in DJI Pilot 2.
As I think, it must be possible to load it as waypoint mission. DJI Pilot 2 will only need the outer waypoints, all other parameter will be calculated inside the M3M drone. Right? The comfort of creating it first in dronelink is the possibilty of add more misson sets to one on PC.
Tip: KMZ is a zipped KML. You can extract the KML with an application like 7Zip.
Area Route
I only have experience with the Area Route. You import a KML with the boundary of your project (in your image the outer white line). Based on the camera, altitude, overlap etc the Controller calculates your flightlines. Unfortunately your files only give the flightlines.
WayPoint Route
Maybe you can try to import your Dronelink Route KML?
Questions:
is there a way to export your boundary (the white line) from DroneLink?
Thanks for your post. But I have created my area in QGIS, save this as shape and convert it to KMZ with GIS2DJI_v02. This is useful for geometry area in DJI Pilot 2. Second I have import this in dronelink to get the special mission with “three in one”. Inside dronelink you can export the kmz. I´ve insert the google drive export files in my first post. But this won´t run in DJI Pilot 2. KML and KMZ are other formats like DJI accept. When I open it in QGIS I will get a line and capture (point) layer. But I don´t know, how to convert it to DJI format with right lat/lon and altitude values (absolute). Perhaps I must trace it in qgis, export it as litchi, convert it with litchi utilities? But what about gimbal and so on? Like I wrote before, the second and third mission inside the stack has other gimbal settings (-80) and perhaps more speed. (8m/s instead 4m/s)
