I have been using DJI Mini 3 and Mini5 for processing of photos to create Orthophoto of a dirt track about 10m wide and around 1.0km long whilst construction over the last 2 months, both flights flown around the 30m height able to capture with about 200 photos, mini 3 JPEG file size around 7000KB and mini 5 JPEG file size 11000kb, and able to run processing with no issues in about 25mins from both drones* (refer WebODM Process notes ) .
With the upgrade last week to the DJI Air 3, I re flew the same area on 25/07/2026. JPEG file sizes around 13000kb with 190 photos taken. Error message ’ Cannot process dataset’.
My thought is that because the Air 3 has 2 lenses, I had flown the track at 95m with the 3 x zoom, this maybe the issue with the dual lens. I changed the photos sizes on Air 3 to 4.8 JPG to see if this made a difference, Error massage appeared, compressed photos JPG file size to about 4000KB. After re running, the error message still appears.
In WebOBM dashboards, Edit Task Options, I have picked the dual camera-lens for the Air 3, however the same message appears and my thought is that the dual camera may be the issue.
I have also run the diagnostic menu, Free: 152.0 GB | Used: 777.9 GB | Total: 929.8 GB
Any thoughts, suggestions helpful.
