WebODM Processing node

==========
I only have node-odm-1 in my options, on watching tutorials I see there is and Auto option, this doesn’t show in my version of the app. Am I missing something as a new user? I’m not sure if this is where I should be posting this question so apologies if I am starting a new topic already covered.

Welcome!

We’ve changed the Node selection logic to remove Automatic as it was causing problems when people trialed Lightning and were out of credits.

Having only node-odm-1 is the correct behavior unless you’ve also signed into Lightning or added other nodes locally or on your home network.

Thanks for the help, is there a need to add other nodes and where do you find them to add. I am planning just simple orthophotos and maybe a few 3D models.

When you are starting out, no, adding nodes is a more advanced workflow.

Lightning could be useful as a faster node or for larger datasets. Keep in mind it is a paid service.
