Trying to connect to postgres

I’ve just tried to re-run the near 7000 image dataset as per the stoi error thread, but it crashed my computer, so I had to hit the physical off button. I then started the computer again and tried to start WebODM, but got the same error as above (in the thread from where this was moved).

Cannot launch WebODM
Exceeded max retries. If you have a firewall, make sure WebODM is allowed, then restart the application. If you still have troubles, get in touch here.

Here is the app log:

The pgsql.log file is 322KB, probably too large to post here, but can put it on Google Drive if required.
There are no logs anywhere, just my images, and I’m currently unable to launch WebODM.

Are there any pgsql.exe tasks running in Task Manager after you exit/cancel trying to launch WebODM?

No.

Do I need to re-install WebODM?

EDIT - several restarts later, I’m still unable to launch WebODM due to the above error, so there must be a problem in the 1.9.7 build32 version.

Hmm, something is seriously broken. I re-downloaded 1.9.0 build 8 and tried to install into the same directory, which apparently was successful, but when
I try to run WebODM, I get the same ‘Exceeded max retries error’.

I don’t think there is a problem with v1.9.7 Build 32 since we’ve not recieved widespread reports of issues with pgsql when running native.

I think a full uninstall, removal of the installation directory, removal of the %AppData%/Roaming/WebODM directory, and a reset of your Windows Defender Firewall should do the trick.

I fully uninstalled, removing all traces of WebODM, then installed 1.9.0, which I was able to start, then updated to 1.9.7 build 32, and I’m now attempting the 6894 image (resized X0.5) set again. I’ll report on how it goes!

No luck, failed to process.
Back to the invalid stoi argument, but that’s no doubt due to not replacing the file as advised by Piero again after re-installing!
