I think I have some great news. I was working on Altum Micasense images. And as you know, at the moment it is impossible to create a map with the thermal images due to the low resolution (160 by 120), as you can see in the next figure:
Well, I thought doing some pre image processing I could create a good image as you can see in the next figure:
With that information I could create a nice thermal map as you can see in the next both figures:
I can create a pull request to share the code 
any updates on this? If you can’t open a PR could you tell us more about the pre-processing step you used on the images?
