Split-merge with RTK?

I wonder if sub models could be merged with RTK positions instead of what it does now.

Now it seems to try them out like a jigsaw, if there’s RTK then wouldn’t that be better?

Don’t know how the present merge is implemented though.

The ability to turn off alignment in split merge would be a useful addition, particularly for RTK and PPK use cases.
