Process exited with code 1 need help

Hello,
I’m very new on WebODM and try to make my first orthophoto. I think that the installation of WebODM and Docker are ok (I’m on a Macbook 2,4ghz Core i7 macOS Mojave RAM 8Go )
After uploading the 76 images made with a Phantom 4 pro I choose the option fast-orthophoto or auto and start the process.
After a while I get the error message “Process exited with code 1”
I try with deferents options and always get the same error except one time with only the 14 first images.
Can someone help me understand what I did wrong ?

If you can process a few images but not the whole set, it might be running out of RAM. 8GB is not a lot, for this kind of processing - especially since it needs to run within Docker. Check your docker settings and see how much RAM a container can use. (Might be limited to 2GB by default, I think? If so, try increasing to 6GB)

Thank you, I increases the RAM to 6,5Gb and it works.
Here is a sample of the orthophoto. As you can see the houses have a lot of deformations. Is it possible to improve that ?

This is where the configuration fiddling starts. Short answer: yes it’s possible, but it will require some trial and error with the settings. A good place to start is running with the “brown” camera instead of the default. After you select your photos, click the gray box to the right of “Options” then scroll down to “camera lens”. Change it from “auto” to “brown”. As you experiment, I would use just a few (20?) photos which are closely grouped and have good overlap. Once you find some settings that are working, expand to a bigger photo set.

@Maneke I expect others here can also make suggestions based on the configuration you posted above. I’m still pretty new here, so personally not sure what to suggest beyond the brown camera.

What is your image overlap and what is the version of OpenDroneMap.

The overlap is 65% and the odm version is the latest

I thought maybe. For flying over buildings, I wouldn’t recommend such low overlap, as you don’t get enough perspectives to created a good orthophoniste.

I have 97 pics taken from a Mavic 2 Pro drone, nadir and oblique - for some reason I just can’t seem to get to succeed for the full set. I am running on a Dell XPS15 i7 6-core with 64GB of RAM - Docker has assigned about the max on everything including 50GB of RAM, 200GB of SSD, 6 cores, 6GB swap, etc. Still just exits with an out of memory error - I am starting to think this is a loose priors issue but I am not experienced enough to dig much deeper. I am running the micmac worker. Thoughts? We run into these problems in a similar in-hosue pipeline at work when picking instance sizes and such so I am not surprised - just wondering if there is a way to run a feasibility analysis or be able to automatically batch the job into chunks that are spatially correlated but fit in the worker.
