Pictures from video video (having a .srt file with gps location and altitude)

I own a DJI air2s drone which is not yet ready for automatic flight (harmony drone or dronelink for example on android) due to a manufacturer’s choice. In order to survey a terrain I have to take a hundred photos manually with the necessary overlays, and it also works in web odm. Now I would like to try to extract the photos automatically from a video with .srt subtitle files with gps position and altitude (example attached) to convert the video into photos with the corresponding data stored. I could use ffmpeg, to make the frames, and I’m not sure how to go about it: maybe I should transfer the data, coordinating the timing, from the .srt file to the exif data of a single photo. Has anyone tried this yet?
I’ve searched the forum and haven’t found anything similar.
