Most cameras work but not all drones have support for automatic flights.
Most flight planning apps for mapping have support for Air 2S for about a year now. Mavic 3 Pro is very new and will be supported when DJI adds it to their SDK (software development kit). Others in the Mavic 3 line are supported, but not the brand new 3 Pro yet.
You can still manually fly and capture pictures with the 3P and feed the images to ODM, but likely won’t be as good as flight planning software can do in terms of consistent top and side overlapping, depending on your goal.
OpenDroneMap software itself doesn’t really care what camera/drone the pics came from.
What drone do you own?
I am getting a mavic 3 pro, but from what I am reading, DJI will not release the sdk for the mavic 3 series (only one is enterprise) so what else could I use, will a mavic air 2 work? what flight planning apps can i use with that and this?
are two.
I can not afford to use drone deploy, it’s almost 500 a month. I want to use odm, but I can not figure out how to use the auto flying programs. How to install it
The DroneDeploy app is free to use for flights, Pix4Dcapture also.
