LAS data - would a double grid mission help the accuracy?

Hi,
I used ODM to create a georectified TIFF using my drone (Mavic 2 Zoom) and Pix4D. I was astounded with the image. I then found the LAZ file that ODM had created, used PDAL to convert it to a LAS file and viewed it on http://plas.io/. Again, very impressed with what can be done with a set of 2d images.
My question is whether flying a a double grid mission would improve the point cloud data? TIA.
