Laptop faster than desktop

Hello,

First of all, thanks to the people who invest in this software !

I have a request. On the same project, my laptop is faster than the desktop.

I think it’s a problem to allocate resources properly to the software. How to do this ?

The desktop :
AMD | Ryzen 9 5950X
CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX 64GB (2x32GB) DDR4 3200MHz * 2 = 128 GB !
ASUS | TUF GAMING X570-PLUS WIFI

50 minutes - orthomosaic - 73 pictures.

The laptop :

32 go
ge force gtx
Core i7 9th gen

33 minutes - orthomosaic - 73 pictures.

I hope my request is clear.

Thank you.

Welcome!

It is likely that your laptop is making use of the GPU for part of the processing pipeline. This will automatically happen when a supported NVIDIA CUDA-capable card is found on the machine.

Does your Desktop use an AMD card?

Thank you.
The desktop has a “GIGABYTE GAMING OC RTX 3060” and . Should I change the settings in the computer or in the software?

Can you please update to the latest version? You can check for updates from the WebODM GUI. Alternatively, if you’d like a direct link to the latest download, please email us at [email protected] with your MYSXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXXX number from your orders so I can generate new download links for you to bookmark.
