Jimson Weed, Datura stramonium, Devils Trumpet or various other names has been in the news in Australia recently, after various baby spinach products were contaminated with it. Various spaced out people went to hospital, or searched for more of the product(!), until it was all recalled.
It grows all over the place, here is one of the hundreds of pods we removed from the bottom of our dry dam recently.

Nice model! I realized I’ve never seen a mature seed pod, but plenty of whole plants with flowers or green pods. That’d be a heck of a way to experience baby spinach! Oh my.
