Is there a way to convert a .tiff image in jpg, for example, and show on web map, Does this work flow already exist in WebODM? if yes, can you explain the basics to me. By the way, if doesn’t exist, I want to implement this. Thanks community.
Could you explain in a little bit more detail what you’re looking for so I can assist better?
After processing a task, I want to upload more images from the tiff extension and I want to show these .tiff images in the task map. But as the tiff has a very large size I need a way to transform it into jpg(or something like that, with coordinates) to dynamically show on the map.
That is, I want to add new orthophotos.tiff and show them on the map. I want to know if this would be possible to implement, and I would also like an explanation of how webodm reads that orthophoto generated in assets after processing. That is it!
You might try it with QGis, you can convert to many formats there
We don’t support displaying of arbitrary imagery. You can load georeferenced GeoTIFF imagery as a task by following the format/layout of an all.zip archive and importing that into a task, which you can then view alongside other Tasks in the same Project with the Project Map View:
You might be better served with DroneDB if you want a general-purpose sUAS data visualization tool.
Thanks, I’ll check out all this advice!
