How many Ram will I need?

i recently asked myself how many Ram do I need to archive a project, so recently the system eat up more than 570GB of Ram and I wondered if there is a way to calculate it before.

Maybe we could create a calculator, this would really safe a lot of time and waiting for fail or success.

well, i would like to predict the amount of needed ram for specific settings.

Like lets say you have a modle with 200 pictures and you have a modle with 20 pcitures and an other one with 25000. Now lets say we know the resolution and bit deepth of this pictures and we also know how many mb they have. Now we know what will be at least needed to keep all pictures at the same time in the ram. Now it gets tricky - how can i estimate the needed ram for a moodle with 200000 mesh size against one with 9876543210 mesh size. The thing with ulta settings is an other thing which needs to be mentioned. I just dont know how to start on this.
