How do I explort my 3D model to sketchfab?

I am a newbie to ODM and struggling to understand how to output my 3D models for viewing in Sketchfab. Sketchfab rejects all my attempts with an error 13 (wrong file format) and directs me to their page showing acceptable formats, but none of my assets seem to match. I think it is OBJ that I need. Can anyone clear the fog for me please?

I don’t know anything about sketchfab, but the 3d obj file and materials should be in the “Textured Model” or “Textured Model (gITF)” asset (don’t know which one you need) that you can download from “download assets” after you process the images. That option may not appear if you chose a preset like “orthophoto only” to do your processing. If you used default settings or chose a 3d specific preset it should be.

Thank you Cronix, I downloaded just the textured model asset instead of “all assets” and Sketchfab seems to be processing it. I am not necessarily married to Sketchfab, but I would like to know how to take a 3D model generated in ODM to share online… this is proving to be what I thought would be a simple question, but I am having a hard time with it.

Have you checked out DroneDB, our sUAS data sharing and visualization platform?

Hi Saijin_Naib, can you explain what DroneBD is for? I looked at this portal, but I don’t fully understand its capabilities.

Can models be presented in 3D view?

Yes they can, along with other OpenDroneMap outputs, and even you input images, if you’d like.

Here’s my example set using our test data of Brighton Beach Road:
