Good Morning all,
I am new to this forum, WebODM and Mapping. I have had my Phantom 4 for a while now and finally decided to put it to work for something more than just playing around.
Had a go at my first 2D map yesterday and just got the results back this morning, looks OK. Going to try again, but with a second pass to see if that improves the quality.
Expect to see me around asking plenty of questions!
Sounds great, I hope you have more success, and I’m looking forward to seeing some more of Scotland!
I will try and get some images up to share. (once I work out how to convert the .tif to a .jpeg file!)
You can use QGIS to scale the TIFF and convert to JPEG using the Processing Toolbox, or more simply, load it up, style it how you like, and then File → Import/Export → Export Map To Image to get a nice/easy one you can copy to the clipboard and paste here
200DPI or below is normally best for the file-size limitations.
Hello from the Black Isle! Welcome!
Nice, thanks for the tip.
This is my first attempt, so has a couple of holes and a few miss alignments. But pretty happy with it.
you are not that far away from me, I’m in Montrose
