Getting the maps off of ODM

**please excuse my ignorance. How do you get the completed maps from webODM to something that can be shared as a file. I have maps inside the program but can’t figure how to save in format that can be shared with customers. Thanks

You need to download it. There’s a button once it completes. If you say map you probably want orthophoto. Jpeg works everywhere and WGS80 so it has same coordinate system as Google maps and similar.

Welcome!

Marko gave you a great starter!

If you expand your Task(s) under your project, you’ll see the Download Assets button:

If you go to View Map for a task, and click the Layers button on the right, you can choose different export formats and projections:

Take a look at QGIS.org (or any GIS software) for generating printable version of the images as maps.

GIMP will open the large .tif files, and you can also display them in Google Earth.

And Paint.NET should be able to handle large GeoTIFFs (and allow you to edit them) without butchering the GeoTIFF metadata.

(paletted and multi-spectral TIFF support is still pretty hit-or-miss).
