Geo.txt input projection only?

Hi, wondering if it is possible to provide just the input projection in a geo.txt file without listing all of the image files and coordinates. In other words, just set projection for the lat/lon/HAE data in the image files? ie…

+proj=longlat +ellps=GRS80 +datum=NAD83 +no_defs

and that’s it :slight_smile:

Hmm… So an over-ride for the projection only?

What’s the use-case for this?

Just an idea, but thinking if the drone is connected as a rover to an RTK VRS network, and the VRS reference frame is something other than WGS84, ie NAD83, that input CRS could be set with a single line in the geo.txt file, and simply applying that to the LLH coordinates that are natively tagged in the images.

Would you be willing to write a Feature Request for this at our ODM Repo with any other supporting information you may have?

Let me run a few more test cases with a full coordinate file. If they seem to work out I’ll open a feature request. Thanks!
