Error using Lightning, I'm a beginner

Hi

I am having trouble sending photos to be processed by Lightning.
I got this error and have no idea what to do. I am a beginner with no technical experience. To me it sounds like I may have internet connection problems. Is this correct?

Connection error: HTTPSConnectionPool(host=‘spark1.webodm.net’, port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /task/new/upload/1aa83ae2-a575-4e4a-937d-88c30818c732?token=a64e5813-a55a-47aa-9fad-61d25aee3d35 (Caused by NewConnectionError(‘<urllib3.connection.HTTPSConnection object at 0x00000244B706E730>: Failed to establish a new connection: [Errno 11001] getaddrinfo failed’))

Trying to send 947 images via lightning.

Sorry for the trouble.

Yes, this is normally indicative of a connection problem.

Some causes I’ve seen in the past:

  1. Slow uplink (25MB/s or less)
  2. Poor link quality (high latency and/or packet loss [think really bad free wifi that disconnects or stalls)
  3. VPN Software
  4. Proxy Software
  5. Anti-Virus “connection privacy” software (AVG, for instance)

I tried both internet connections and the one that I had used was terrible. Will use the other connection and see how I go.
