DTM is blank

My DTM appears to just be black. When opened, there is nothing there. Am I doing something wrong?

Where are you opening your DTM in?

They’re typically 8bit grayscale TIFFs, and not many programs/operating systems will open and display them properly.

You’d likely be best off opening it in a GIS suite like QGIS, and setting up a renderer to give it a sensible color ramp.

Sören, It is correct that the DSM is grayscale, as the brightness represents the elevation. WebODM is applying a color map/color-ramp to aid in visualization. You can do the same with something like QGIS or ArcGIS when you load the DSM.

I’m trying to export the elevation maps I’ve created with WebODM, so I go download assets then surface model (GeoTIF) and download dsm.tif. When I open this image with windows photo viewer then entire image is black. Is there a fix for this and is anyone else experiencing the same issues?
