I recently had to abort a mission due to strong wind - my Autel EVO 2 started moving slowly backwards with the wind. I was able to complete about 2/3 of the first line of photos in what was supposed to be a grid patterne when I decided to abort and land.
Result was 14 images with 80% overlap along a single line. Decided to run them through WebODM to see what would happen when I had no side overlap. Result amazed me:
Flight line was between the paved path and the trench - subject is an old costal battery. I am amazed about the depth captured despite having just a single line of images.
Now we just need a 3D .pdf export option
