3D Potree view not displaying after upgrade to 1.8.0

I just recently upgraded to WebODM 1.8.0 and the Potree 3D view is not displaying. I’ve tried this in chrome on multiple machines. Tried updating again and still not working. It was working on the previous version. Anyone experiencing the same thing or know where to look to troubleshoot?

Hey @iwaldrurm :hand: are you using the latest version of Chrome? What operating system?

Try to disable “Eye Dome Lighting” from the "Appearance tab of Potree. Does it display then?

Hi, I have seen exactly the same issue and after selecting 3D view there is nothing displayed so “Eye Dome Lighting” etc. are not available. I remember a comment during the upgrade emails that the new WebXR/potree requires https, this is worrying because I only use internally myself and have not configured https yet! I’m in the progress and the https configuration is causing a few issues. First we need to confirm is it because there is no https?

Hi, I’m using the latest version of Chrome Version 88.0.4324.150 (Official Build) (64-bit) on Windows 10.

I also don’t have the option to edit anything as it’s not displaying Potree.

Is there anything in the “console” tab of the developer toolbar (press F12 from Chrome, then refresh the 3D view page?

This is an example of what I see let me know if you need more.

Sorry, this is the “console” tab

Ah! Thanks. That’s clearly a bug (a file is missing). Fix coming up…

After the docker images have rebuilt (Add missing three.min.js · OpenDroneMap/[email protected] · GitHub), please update and try again?

3D potree is now visible. Another issue has appeared. When selecting view cameras, the camera objects are extremely small and you have to zoom in to be able to select any of them. Should this be posted as another issue?

The cameras are actually a new feature designed to improve eye sight for computer users world-wide.

Just kiddin’, ha, needs to be fixed. No need for a new issue. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

So, I should wait to complain that the cameras are too big?
