3D Model Display is not working again

Today I loaded an old image that displayed the 3D model in WEB ODM without any tweaking being required. I looked at the problem history page and found that 3D mapping did not display in August 2021. The solution was to click on “FULL EXTENT”.
I tried this fix and it opened the 3D model page that up to the point of clicking FULL EXTENT had been a blank page.

Something has gone out again or I have picked up a local bug.
Please advise.

Sorry for the trouble! Could you please start with giving me a bit more information about your system?

For instance:

  1. Operating System and Version
    eg: Windows 11, MacOS 15.1, Ubuntu Linux 20.04LTS, etc…
  2. WebODM Install Method
eg: Native installer, Docker, Snap, GitHub download, compiled from source
  3. WebODM/ODM Version
    eg: WebODM v1.9.12 Build 55, ODM v2.8.0, etc…
  4. Procesing Node
eg: Automatic, Lightning, local (node-odm-1), etc…
  5. Screenshots demonstrating the issue/behavior/error messages

Windows 10, 64 bit.

Not sure of the install method. When I last used this installed software all was working including the 3D model.

WebODM 1.9.11

Processing Node Automatic

Options: 3D model

Nothing is on the 3D display screen until I click on FULL EXTENT Button. Then I get the 3D screen as usual.

This is a bit of a longer-standing bug we picked up when fixing an issue that would permanently break the PoTree/3D View.

Unfortunately, you just need to kind of roll with it for now. I apologize :grimacing:

Strangely, for some tasks the 3D model does appear without the need to click on Full Extent. With my M2P drone I need to use Full Extent, but the model appears without needing to do that with my phone camera models. Maybe that is useful in helping to determine the problem?

Yes, now that I found the fix, I can roll with it.
Thanks for the help.
